Amusing Eye Games
Soft Silky Smells that jumped over the stranger’s mind
fence,
Lace Filled Dreams that swam through the lover’s blood –
dense…
A gentle brush of your eyes over mine, only a union of
bodies was nigh,
Lit those Candles across my face coz’ your smell made me
high….
An orange flame that crept out of his deep blood red heart,
Drowned out her cold defense and pulsated her with warm
defeat…
She held her gaze and met his eyes, which locked in and
intertwined,
For that one moment, which seemed infinite in both our
minds…
The flame froze, then died, but the warmth fraught on,
And to mundane tasks, I loaned myself, but then found myself
alone…
I sat rapt in study, of that delicate frame, buried within
my head,
Seven eons of feeling, that was pent up, on my face she
read.
A fast but fluid friendship was building, and only time
could tell its fate,
There was a desire to rush, but it always seemed wiser to
wait…
And till, then they would know each other’s names,
And continue to play the amusing eye games…

To mundane tasks, I loaned myself!
Great expression.
