I feel Alive

I feel so alive, and able, to touch these flamboyant feelings

Drink the waves of sweet music and swim in the dark velvet undertones,

Look at the clouds and feel their presence, transferred to me by the soft breeze

Content and fully aware, I feel so human, so vulnerable and exposed

My emotions raw and yet so thawed, but before like a freezer full of ice

I feel the sun and its fairy white light, feel grateful for the life I meander thru

The indulgent rays that are softly shining against the cobweb, which reflects in peace

For even though it traps and kills, it is still home to that solitary spider…

I feel I can read into words and understand their true meaning

Feel the profound passion of the writer, a foible inkling

Awakened thru a cosmic event, but at the scale of the human mind

A mind is but a universe, if you don’t see that you’re still blind

But there’s always time to change, for that path is long and you’re strong,

Just wake up…

Wake up before it’s too late,

Wake up before you miss the monumental and vanish into the mundane
